As the Creative Content Manager, you'll dive into the exciting task of developing a profound understanding of our brands and audiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the creation of top-notch copy, video, and image assets for diverse digital channels, including social media, email, website, and ticketing platforms.

    The Role

    XL Event Lab is on the lookout for a Paid Media Manager to join our growing in-house digital marketing team. As a data-driven expert with a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in performance marketing, you will play a key role coordinating impactful campaigns across social and search that build awareness, create engagement, and ultimately drive ticket sales.     Key Responsibilities

    PLANNING
    • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to evaluate and refine our paid media strategy with particular attention given to channel selection, audiences/targeting, creative, copy and budgets.
    • Contribute to writing compelling copy that resonates with our target audience, inspires and converts.
    • Collaborate with the Content Manager and third party creative agencies to commision high-impact, engaging and shareable creative assets.
    ACTIVATION
    • Take charge of campaign builds across Meta, TikTok, and Google digital advertising platforms.
    • Execute comprehensive quality checks to guarantee flawless campaigns and minimise wasted spend.
    • Implement third-party tracking pixels, ensuring the accurate recording of goals and conversions.
    OPTIMISATION
    • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to fine-tune campaigns to ensure KPIs (CPA, ROAS, reach) are being met.
    • Alert the team when campaigns are pacing behind expectations and make proactive recommendations on how to get them back on track.
    • Hypothesise, run and report on regular A/B that deliver incremental performance improvements.
    REPORTING
    • Produce weekly/monthly reports clearly communicating performance against target KPIs, analysis with actionable insights, and recommendations for optimisations.
    • Monitor and report on any innovative campaigns/activity run by similar brands.
    PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
    • Manage external agencies and foster strong relationships with reps at Facebook and Google.
    PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
    • Keep abreast of new platform developments/features and emerging channels that allow us to stay ahead of the curve.

    Essential Skills

    • Solid expertise in paid media platforms, particularly Meta and Google, with 2-3 years of proven experience utilising them to drive sales or leads.

      The Job

      XL Event Lab is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to oversee, refine and develop all aspects of how the Company functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior position will appeal to candidates experienced in the day-to-day operations of a fast paced and fast growing SME and who are keen to contribute to the ongoing development of a blueprint for success.

      The Role

      Working from our office in Downtown Orlando, the Director of Operations will occupy a position in the company immediately below the CEO and above eight separate departmental Heads. They will work closely and collaboratively with this leadership team to help maintain successful growth trajectory of the company and to improve and refine the systems and processes required to achieve that.

      The successful candidate will be an innovator, capable of assessing systems and workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing them. The Company has a dynamic outlook, and this is applied to all aspects of its operations. A desire to continually refine processes and improve efficiencies is central to our workplace culture and the successful candidate will be expected to share the same ethos. We constantly strive to do things better and more efficiently. The Director of Operations will be the person spearheading that drive on behalf of the entire Company.

          Tour Director, USA (touring)

          XL Event Lab is in search of an experienced Tour Director to join the company on a full-time permanent contract with benefits. In a typical year the successful candidate will be touring for between 8-10 months with the remainder of the year spent on office duties. The specific schedule, along with paid time off, will be negotiated in advance of the start date. Office work can be carried out from our downtown Orlando base or remotely from home.

          Successful applicants will join a team of touring event professionals and support staff who are responsible for the successful delivery and execution of high capacity, family-friendly touring event experiences that welcome over 10,000 guests in a typical weekend. Managing a team of over 40 staff across various departments in an often challenging outdoor environment, this role requires candidates with demonstrable experience, at management level, in mass participation events of this scale and complexity. This role would be particularly suitable to anyone with experience in the management and execution of participatory sporting events and/or music festivals.

          Our Company 

          We design and execute experiences for an expanding base of customers and oversee a portfolio of established events which are active in various international markets. Selling both to entertainment buyers and directly to the ticket buying public, XL Event Lab typically produces over 500 events in an average year.

          The Role

          This senior role will see the successful candidate oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s various touring events. Excellent communication, strong time management, and versatility will be integral. Tasks will involve:

          Management of touring and locally hired crew, being the main go to point of contact and leadership, guidance and support. Typically this will include staff deployment/placement, working closely with staff to help them meet productivity targets, helping to maintain a positive work environment for all staff, assisting in the ongoing training and personal development of touring staff, improving labor efficiencies, and managing the labor budget through finding better ways of working, and improving process and the capability of the team.

          Management of all safety and compliance requirements related to the tour. Working closely with the Build & Safety Manager on this task the Tour Director will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary safety protocols are in place prior to site opening and that all regular safety checks and risk mitigations are being managed and implemented efficiently throughout the course of each event day.

          Liaison with the back office support team. Each tour is supported by a back office team and it will be the responsibility of the Tour Director to effectively communicate needs to this team, bridging the gap between the support team, and ground team.

          Liaison with all event stakeholders, vendors, permitting authorities and partners. The Tour Director will be the primary point of contact for all event partners including venue managers, sponsorship partners and third party vendors. Alongside the Build & Safety Manager they will also be responsible for ensuring that all permitting conditions are met and that the site is correctly prepared for any required inspections.

          Management of event budgets, cost control initiatives, inventory and supply needs. Each event is assigned a budget and the management of that budget is the responsibility of the Tour Director. Cost control and improving expenditure efficiencies will be an important part of the role. The Tour Director will also work closely with the wider touring team to ensure that all assets and event consumables are properly managed.

          Regular reporting to senior management and direct reporting to the company’s Founders. The Tour Director is the eyes and ears of the Senior Leadership in each market. Reporting from the field is an important aspect of event operations and the Tour Director will report directly to the company’s Founders on a weekly basis.

          Project management and planning of upcoming events. As part of the time spent working in the office the Tour Director will be expected to contribute to the planning and management of upcoming tours and activations.

          Research & development tasks related to the development of new touring experiences. Another aspect of the office role will involve contributing to the research and development of new touring events. The Tour Director will be part of the ideation process and will be relied on to give their unique, practical perspective to newly proposed events and experiences.

                Event Production Manager, USA (Orlando based)

                XL Event Lab is seeking an experienced event professional to join our growing Orlando team.  The successful candidate will provide back-end support for our touring event experiences, help to  train and develop our core team of staff, travel to events to assess and maintain performance  goals and work alongside senior management to improve and streamline company procedures  and processes. Experience within the wider events and experiences industry is essential.

                This is a senior role within a fast-growing company producing over 400 individual events per year  across the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. The role would suit an ambitious and enthusiastic  individual keen to make their mark in the industry with a similarly ambitious company.

                While the role will be primarily office based the Event Production Manager will also be required to  travel to events as and when required by senior management. With this in mind a degree of  flexibility in terms of working hours, days and locations is essential for anybody who takes on this  role.

                 Primary Responsibilities

                • Communicating with all touring staff on a daily basis to assess and prioritize their needs.   Managing a core office support team to ensure that all of touring event needs are met.
                • Liaising with city authorities, local vendors, event partners and all other stakeholders in each market where we operate.
                • Providing regular reports on all progress to senior management.
                • Problem solving and troubleshooting any issues which may arise
                • Assisting with the recruitment of new team members across all departments.
                • Providing guidance and training to other department staff.
                • Assessing and refining processes and procedures and improving efficiencies across the company
                • Visiting events to ensure that all performance goals and customer satisfaction goals are being met.

                 Required Qualifications

                • At least 2 years experience in a management role, ideally within the events industry.

                     The Role

                    Working from our office in Downtown Orlando, the Procurement & Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing all services and third-party vendors that the company requires in its day-to-day operations. They will be required to build relationships with these suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, ensure that the agreed scope of service is delivered and ensure that all invoices are checked for accuracy before being forwarded for processing.

                    Alongside the purchase of services, the P&P Manager will be responsible for the purchase of all supplies, equipment (non-capital) and consumables required by our various touring events and experiences. They will be required to manage and maintain an effective inventory control system to ensure that there are no supply issues or shortages that would impact daily operations.

                    Central to all of this will be a focus on managing budgets, strict cost control and maintaining financial KPIs as set out by the senior management team.

                    Summary of Key Responsibilities

                    • Liaise with the touring management team to establish all service and supply needs on a daily basis.
                    • Procure all required third-party service providers via detailed and thorough research ensuring the right service is purchased for the right price.
                    • Develop relationships with all service providers to ensure service quality is maintained, scope of work is fulfilled and terms are fair.
                    • Negotiate service contracts and present best options to the department Head.
                    • Procure all supplies, equipment and consumables at the most favorable price points available in the market.
                    • Identify opportunities for improving purchasing power.
                    • Maintain strict budgets and apply any necessary cost control measures should budgets be exceeded.
                    • Review all invoices and requests for payment to ensure accuracy.
                    • Work alongside the Accounting department to ensure that all receipts, invoices, credit notes and associated financial documentation are filed appropriately.

                    Qualifications

                    At least 3 years experience as a finance generalist. Preferred specialties are cost control, purchasing/procurement, bookkeeping.

                    A working knowledge the Xero accounting platform is preferred. Knowledge of the Dext and ApprovalMax platforms would also be a bonus.

                          Assistant Tour Manager (Live In), USA (touring)

                          XL Event Lab is in search of an experienced, skilled Assistant Tour Manager for an ongoing contract starting as soon as possible. This is a touring or fly in/out role working away from home in an outdoor environment with travel and accommodation provided for the duration of the contract.

Selling both to entertainment buyers and directly to the ticket-buying public, XL Event Lab typically produces over 500 events in an average year.

                                Responsibilities

                                • Manage all inventory processes, including equipment, merchandise and supplies ● Act as primary point of contact for any deliveries arriving for the event.
                                • Actively identify additional items needed for a successful event
                                • Oversee weekly inventory updates post event
                                • Collaborate with vendors, sponsors, and partners to secure necessary resources and support for events.
                                • Coordinate all event trailer movements to and from event locations. ● Schedule trailer and vehicle repairs and maintenance as needed.
                                • Identify and arrange all needed equipment repairs and maintenance ● Handle on-site supply needs through local vendors and suppliers ● Actively identify additional items needed for a successful event.
                                • Work hand in-hand with existing departments to deliver successful events.
                                • Act as liaison between on-site and office teams to provide reports, tracking and insight of all inventory related items

                                Requirements

                                • 1-3 years of event, logistics or project management experience
                                • Excellent technical and organizational skills
                                • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
                                • Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision
                                • Team player who is willing to help with other duties and tasks as needed
                                • Detail oriented
                                • Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity
                                • Valid Driver’s Licence

                                    XL Event Lab is in search of experienced, skilled customer service & event activation  supervisors for ongoing contracts starting as soon as possible. This is a fly in/out role  working away from home in an outdoor environment with travel and accommodation  provided for the duration of the contract.

                                    Successful applicants will join a team of touring event professionals and support staff who  will be responsible for the successful delivery of ‘The Big Bounce America’ or ‘Bounce the  City’, a family-friendly outdoor mass participation event.                                       XL Event Lab requires experienced labor crew for ongoing contracts in a physical, outdoor  role starting as soon as possible. This is a fly in/out role working away from home with travel  and accommodation provided for the duration of the contract.

                                       Primary Responsibilities

                                      • Loading and unloading of all event hardware.
                                      • Installation and de-rig of event sites in each touring location
                                      • Assisting with the maintenance and management of the build & safety on event site during event days
                                      • Adherence to all safety and equipment operating protocols

                                       Desired Experience / Skills / Certifications

                                      • Construction experience at all levels (desired but not essential)
                                      • Forklift & Heavy Machinery experience & certifications at all levels (desired but not essential)
                                      • Commercial electrical experience & certifications at all levels (desired but not essential)
                                      • Valid driver's license with clean record required.
